My story
About
"Vanessa Ruiz Galland, pattern maker and jewelry designer. After more than thirty years in the industry, I have worked for several Haute Couture houses and carried out quality control missions for luxury ready-to-wear in Asia and Europe. I also spent many years in the Parisian nightlife scene, creating costumes and outfits for the most fashionable parties and dressing drag queens during their golden years. I have also designed creations for theater, cinema, and advertising. Today, I bring all this experience, precision, and creativity into the making of entirely handcrafted jewelry, using Miyuki beads, semi-precious stones, baroque pearls, Bohemian glass, crystal, polished glass, silver, and gold."

The Art of Detail
"Every piece of jewelry I create carries the patience and precision of a gesture I’ve refined over thirty years in haute couture workshops. Bead by bead, stone by stone, I work with the same demanding standards I used when prototyping for the biggest fashion houses. Most pieces are unique. When I make small series, they are always limited to a maximum of ten pieces, and even then, each one has its own subtle nuance. Every week, new pieces enrich my different collections: metallic jewelry, mother-of-pearl, and polished glass. What you wear is not just a piece of jewelry — it’s the fruit of artisanal expertise passed down from collection to collection."

My inspirations
"My creations are born first from the material itself. I let myself be guided by the light playing on mother-of-pearl, by the depth of a semi-precious stone, by the wild shimmer of a baroque pearl, or the transparency of Bohemian glass. Each material has its own voice, and that’s the one I listen to first.
On top of that, I draw from everything I experienced during thirty years in the fashion world: the rigor of haute couture workshops, the creative freedom of Parisian nights, and the poetry of theater and cinema. This fusion between the nobility of the materials and the memory of my years of creation gives each piece its unique soul."
